The Pearson Edexcel International AS Physics award XPH11 is built from WPH11 Mechanics and Materials, WPH12 Waves and Electricity, and WPH13 Practical Skills in Physics I. Teaching keeps those unit boundaries visible while connecting the ideas that recur across papers.
The full Pearson Edexcel International A-Level Physics award YPH11 comprises all six units WPH11-WPH16. The A2-stage units are WPH14 Further Mechanics, Fields and Particles; WPH15 Thermodynamics, Radiation, Oscillations and Cosmology; and WPH16 Practical Skills in Physics II.
Past-paper work is organised by the WPH unit the student is preparing to sit. Lessons train derivations, multi-step calculations, graph and data analysis, practical reasoning and the precise written explanations expected in Pearson Edexcel mark schemes.
Online group classes last 90 minutes and cost AED 150 per session. The schedule is agreed with the students in the group, allowing teaching to follow their unit sequence and exam dates.
Weekly homework is checked individually, regular exams track readiness, and direct WhatsApp access keeps questions from waiting until the next class.
Dr Desouky's method is cumulative: IAS foundations remain active as students move into the A2-stage units required for the full YPH11 award.
